It is possible to add tvheadend server and support for intel NUC internal ir remote receiver?

You should be able to do TVheadend server via kodi. That is how I ran mine until I bought an HDHomerun.

Kodi only has the Tvheadend client. Tvheadend Server is not installed by the looks.

Congrats to the batocera team on the best retro gaming operating system.
But the one piece of the puzzle missing right now is the TVheadend Server in Kodi. How do we install it? Does anyone know?

I am hoping to replace my current setup running LibreElec on an old Dell Optiplex connected to an old TV set and hooked up to a USB TV Tuner receiving free to air TV. An all-in-one retro gaming/HTPC/with free to air TV capabilities setup is what I’m aiming for.

Update. After a couple days of searching and tinkering I have discovered the following:
The TVheadend Server add-on available in LibreELEC OS was written by Team LibreELEC specifically for LibreELEC OS.
I managed to download the add-on and install it in Kodi on batocera.linux 29 but as the add-on was written specifically for LibreELEC OS it doesn’t seem to work in batocera “out of the box”.
Issue: Not able to connect to TVH server in Kodi/batocera via web browser in order to run initial setup. I suspect it may be just a matter of editing a few lines of code but I have no idea where to start.

For now, I will stick with my “dual boot” method with LibreELEC installed to HDD and batocera running on USB stick.
