I have for the moment alot of problems with new emulators, Dolphin and Citra,
mostly I think that the integration is not complete. For both strange behaviour
of controller interfaces.
Goldeneye arrive to the point that it tells you that it cannot make connection with
Wiimote. Now this game should accept Wiimote, Gamecube controller or general
game controller.
If you change the Dolphin configuration files, after restart of the game they are put
back to the departure state. (And defined Wiimotes) That should not be.

Trying to push further, I connected my spare Mayflash Dolphinbar to the J5005 Bartop and tried out some (fake or original, with Nunchuck and without) Wiimote's over the bar. The Mayflash is functioning wonderful on Mame rail shooters in position II as mouse emulation. But dolphinbar? In position IV, for dolphin, and on Goldeneye 007, no way to connect and make buttons working. bullshitbar?. So in this configuration, he cannot find WII Remote but accept from keyboard directional keys, X from keyboard as A, and part also from Dragonrise interface, the Hotkeys, I can close the game. Bouillabaisse. And on the top, from time to time he open the Dolphin configuration Menu, that I dont arrive to popup by desire. Crazy.
So, game looks phantastic, speed on J5005, but I am far away from the solution. If already there was a way to call Dolphin Configuration Menu on wish.

try this

To use a virtual horizontal wiimote, include ".side." in the filename (for example ".side.iso").
You can choose the axis controls among i(nfrared), s(wing), t(ilt) or n(unchuk) :
for example, to play mariokart wii, rename it mario_kart.side.ti.iso (to get the tilt on the first axis and infrared on the 2nd one (ti))
for example, to play mario galaxy, rename it mario_galaxy.ni.iso (got get the nunchuk on the first axis and infrared on the 2nd one (ni))

Hi, and first thanks for your work in the forum.
So, I tried out early the game name extensions with no success. Somewhere normal if he dont arrive to detect the wiimotes, as the extension is just a specification for orientation. So, I am waiting the first guy to declare a functioning WIImote on Dolphin over Batocera. 🙂 I dont think that it is a Mayflash bar problem, but perhaps somebody will arrive with another bar ? Anyway, to connect a Wiimote, you need a bar. So, may be that it is a driver problem.
But anyway, I dont wanted to use WIImote, but my own controllers on Bartop.
And I read in older postings that you first need to modify in recalbox.conf :
wii.emulatedwiimotes=1
I think, better to put this already on as default in next version.
Next job, delete everything in /recalbox/system/configs/dolphin-emu/
Because now I have my Dragonrise 0 and 1 displayed in the Dolphin configuration menu. I am on this point, but some job to make with redefinitions. Dosbox keymapper is wonderfull compared to all other, because he allows to map the player 2 controls to the player 1 controls, giving you large possibilities on complex games.
As such, I often use joystick 2 as mouse emulation in dosbox.
Ok, I will continu this as I advance.

Dragu sory i forget to mention about to activate wiimotes to 1 on recalbox.config -.
on some games works using those extensions . but i dont like wii emulation on batocera cause of that gamepads isues .

you can emule original wiimote on dolphin .. try the old trick usind candles as a sensor bar .. yes candles XD XD XD bluethoot needed oc pc .

I pretty good advanced today. The good news, you can remap all your controllers PS3 and so on to an Emulated WII Remote. But best for me and all cabinet users, you can map the same as in dosbox 2 different controllers interface on 1 single controller. Now in Wii you have an orgy of sticks and buttons, most dos shooters from this period made it easier. No compare with Lara.
To map 2 controllers on 1, you must define on Port 1 Standard Controller, with interface in my case Dragonrise 0.
I used joystick 0 for Wii control stick up/down and Wii C stick left/right. In general on most dos games, forward-backward-turn left-turn right are on 1 Stick (on WII turn is replaced by strafe on Wii control stick) But I have no gift to make. The D-Pad is important because for weapon selection and other stuff. The trick is, if you right click on the D-Pad direction, a new window opens where you can replace Dragonrise 0 by Dragonrise 1. If you select/apply it, the text on the button is related to your second interface, in my case 'evdev/1/Dragonrise Inc. Generic USB Joystick: Axis 1-' instead of just Axis 1-. Means, you are always in Controller 1, but use part of controller interface 2 inside. And it is functioning ! So, all what I need is some fine-tuning and this will probably be next weekend, as I will have no time for playing this week. But now I know, I can use my 2 joysticks and 19 buttons in Wii games 🙂

But I have no candles in the house. Just thinking if I could not move my bartop to the next church. 🙂
But I finished to configurate Goldeneye with my 2 joysticks and buttons P1 + P2 together. It is exactly
what I wanted.

I am asking me how you drive the tank with the 2 candles. This part is really tricky and I dont think easy with the real Wiimote. The Wiimote is perfect with rail shooters, but if you must also use it to move around and through small passages it becomes tricky.
