hi guys i have simply made an account here as i see this conversation is fairly new! i dont want to butt in to anyone's existing topic but i have a similar issue. i only found out about retopie batocera type compilation software a few days ago and had a good old tower to apply it to. so i think of the kids. baring in ind i have most of these emulators already runnin on various machines with correct bios files, all well managed files ect. this was an intriguing discovery as they are much too difficult for the kids to use and batocera isnt! but after extensive downloading and unzipping many files and moving them to correct locations within the SHARE file in the correct network space blah blah took me long enough to realise the files were coming in network style and not drag n drop file stylee. but all my games are in place and loading up fine. but still mostly missing bios files and invalid types ect. seems to be far more difficult doing this then setting up my emulators on my own machine also unless im being stupid i have much less control here to i cant edit most of the emulation settings unless its dolphin or ePSXe2. just a few grinding issues where i dont fully understand how batocera has wrapped the emulators up. some areas are great looking and the kids will love this interface but f*&k me its been tough with these bios files cos now my psx wont save anything either i guess because it doesn't have a bios to pull from?? any help will be massively appreciated i feel like the dude above and my answers are gonna be the same answers
