Lexar 64GB USB 3.0 (install media for Batocera)
First time Batocera user and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I followed the tutorial to flash my USB drive with Etcher. I flashed the 5.20 standard image onto the USB drive. Batocera boots from the USB drive fine and shows all the default consoles. I can play ALL of the default consoles and games with no issues.
The problem I am having is I transferred two ROMs (SM64 and 007-GE) into the n64 ROMs folder. After a reboot, the N64 console shows up and so do the two ROMs I transferred. When I select one of the ROMs to play, the screen goes black and then back to the main Emulation screen. The two ROMs were unzipped and have a .n64 extension (I have not tried them using the zipped folder). I installed Mupen64 on this laptop in Windows 10 and can verify that Mupen64 plays the two ROMs I am referring to, so I know they are good ROMs.
I thought maybe the Intel-GPU fix (posted by poke) would fix it, but that hasn't made any difference either. I tried flashing the 5.20 image from the link and I also tried copying just the contents inside boot.tar.xz files over the standard image files. No difference there. I also tried an older version (5.18) and that didn't work.
I have not tried the OLD x86 image file yet. Anything I might be overlooking?
