Gigabyte/Intel wifi not working

I have a gigabyte gc-wb1733d-i I cant get it working with batocera 5.2 it just says not connected I've done it through gui and .config. the gigabyte card has a Intel ac 9260 m.2 card installed. Has anyone got this to work? the firmware from the Intel site is in /lib/firmware. I've also tried recalbox and it doesn't work. It works straight away in windows 10

You put this on a few places, so I tried to follow you 🙂
I think you will not arrive to make it work, because the library awaits an m2 interface, or here you have on this riser board (is not your mainboard) an PCIe x1 connector. That could be a problem. Pure m2 connectors on mainboards are generally working.

Exactly, you have the network but the Linux drivers are not able to connect.
I suppose that this card needs special driver in Windows ?

well i found the error by manually connecting with connmanctl it gave an error of invaild key so i checked my wifi password and i was typing in the wrong one nothing wrong with the wifi card 🙂
