Issue with scraping tool

I’m trying to use the scrap tool in bayonets and I keep gettting this error

“we cant find any systems. Check that your paths are correct in your systems configuration file, and your game directory has at least one game with the correct extension.”

I’m new to this and don’t know what this means. I have my ROMs in the correct folder and they play fine. Any help would be appreciated

i don't know what you mean with bayonets?
but as far as i know: the scraping function inside of batocera (and recalbox also) has some issues since a while.
so it is recommended to use external scraping tools instead:

joinski it was suppose to say Batocera but it was apparently autocorrected. I tried using the scraper that you recommended (universal sm scraper) but when I follow the prompts to the folder with my ROMs, my ROMs aren’t showing so I can’t proceed. So I’m kinda stuck

i did not mess around with those scarper-tools yet, so unfortunately i can not help you 🙁
but i heard that many people like skraper and arrm, so i suggest to test them first.

I don't understand how these external scraper tools work with Batocera yet. Haven't been able to figure them out myself.

For me Skraper work just fine, configure it using settings for recalbox you you are pretty much set. (assigning drive letters for network shares is nice thing to do if running on windows)

Skraper downloads the images but they don't show up on Batocera. Must have something wrong in the settings.

Delete downloaded_images folder and gamelist. Reboot and rescrape from screenscraper.
