Mame for 64 Bit PC - Cannot run any games.

Hi there.

Does anyone have a guide to running and setting up mame games?

The only game I have had running so far is "Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3", and that appears to have some graphics issues.

I have just tried to run "Street Fighter 3", and the game will not load.

I keep reading about different version numbers, and having to setup the recalbox.conf file, but I am still no closer to running any games.
Please help!

how are you doing to use games ?
did you put .zip file in /share/roms/mame folder ?
you can try also copying into /share/roms/fba_libreto , because mame games depends of different "emulators" for example for mame 0.78, 0.167, etc

mame 2000 0.37b5 does not like running on FBA or FBA Lib, but i tried mame 2003 0.79 on FBA Lib and alot more games on working on my C2 droid

How do I know what version number each game needs?

I tried putting street fighter 3 in all of the mame folders, and not one of them will run.

noelburke82 i think you cant. The best way is downloading rom set that specified mame or fba version...

I have installed yesterday a romset 0.78 of mame in x86 64 and it was working all the games that I tested.

ive gotten one game to work, i have no idea where ment put the bioses, is there something im missing?

i have 0.78 set roms and are all working but 3d games like virtua fighters . or another 3d, tekken tag or another one 3d arcade games wont boot. whatever dont like almost of those games .
