Hi,

i'm proud to annonce you that batocera.linux is available for Odroid N2.
you can found below the link to test the version.
However, because in 5.22 we are doing some technical upgrades, there are bugs in this image which are not relatedto the odroid N2. i will fix them as quick as possible to have a perfect odroid n2 image.
Any feedback is welcome.

Current known bugs in this image:
- kodi noisy sound. (known how to be fixed ; not related to odroid n2)
- es takes 1 full cpu sometimes
- ppsspp without frameskip ?

My ps3 control is mapping the buttons completely wrong. But it syncs via bluetooh
Ps4 control works very well

@albanibr possibly your ps3 model is not configured out of the box on batocera (and thus, a similar model configuration applies badly).
you can configure it correctly via menu>controllers>configure a controller

so that i can update the database with your pad please ?

I'd love to hear how the N2 performs. Would it be possible to get the compatibility chart updated soon to list the N2?

Ethernet does not seem to work properly nor show up on pc

I install beta version in N2 (emmc)
but network settings - status always show not connected (ethernet)
even to get current internal ip like 192.168.1.xx

if I ping this ip from other internal computer,
PING 192.168.1.139 (192.168.1.139): 56 data bytes <--- 192.168.1.139 is N2 internal ip

Same issue here. Packet loss and showing "Not connected".
My first guess was disabling ipv6 and setting a static ip for ipv4, didnt help though.

Alpha Release 5.21 does show "connected" but I see the same 50% packet loss.

That build looks very promising!

Network is an issue in my case too!
Odroid N2
Wifi or Lan (apple routeur)

I have 2 PI as well with Recalbox and issue is there. Believe that’s somewhere in the network however i didn’t spot it yet. Issue was not on old RC distros so it might be some code changes done during that migration.

Hi, thanks for the odroid N2 version. I have a problem playing Dreamcast with an external Hdd and internal microsd, the first time all works well, but after some reboots games don't launch, only if i use libreto core but the quality is not the same. I also have problem with my ps3 controler even after mapping he stop working in some systemes.
Excuse me for my English i'm french.

The issue for the dreamcast was the sony controller, with xbox controller all works great. Thanks.

Hi, i'm a newbie, don't know much about Linux and my mother language is german (sorry for bad english).

I'm a great retro fan and know after a long period using raspberry pi3b i decided to speed up different platforms.
Yesterday i received my Odroid N2 and installed the Beta-Image using a Logitech K400Plus Keyboard and a Logitech F710 Controller.
My experience is first a very slow connection via ssh and samba - copying of files impossible - and i think as described: at the first look i found a ip-address of my local network and later after trying an autometed update an entry who looks like a mac-address (uh, strange).
In another forum i heard of ethernet problems with recalbox. Therefore i'm just preparing a fresh sd-card and try to fix it in the ip-settings of recalbox.
In the live version of batocera on a stick i had a File-Manager started with F1 but not in this Beta-Image. I don't know how to access the files to change on the N2 and SSH is to jerky and i have no Linux-System to access the file system.

If i have any success i will describe it here!

Only kodi 17.6 : yes. maybe 18 will come soon. but by experience, don't upgrade kodi as soon as it is released, wait some months.
Kodi sound is noisy : yes, this is a current bug in beta 5.22, under control, but not yet fixed.

@albundy filemanager is only on x86* versions
