5.21 batocera 64x with Nintendo WII emulator and PS4 controller (using cable)

Hello,

I am trying to find a a solution on how to play nintendo wii games. Problem is that on each start of the game it displays: to continue, press 2 button. Well i have my ps4 controller hooked via cable onto the pc and was trying every combination of the mapped controller, no button was triggering for me to get to the game play screen.

I have tried going to the config file which I found in one of the discussions where the value has to be changed to wiicontroleremulated = 1 (if that was the one) but no help there after restarting the batocera etc.

This does concern me a lot and I seem not to find a clear answer why this is happening. anyone knows a way out for this?

Or should i go back to v5.20?

If my memory serves me right, Dolphin uses two different configs - Gamecube and Wii. I know games like mario kart work because you can use a classic pro controller. When you enabled the wii mote, it probably needs configured. I've not gotten to that part in my setup yet..

All joysticks are configurated as "standard joystick" for dolphin.

For playing games with "only" wiimote support, you have to mapping the joystick to an emulated wiimote.

Enter a game, and then Press ALT+TAB on keyboard. That makes the dolphin window appear, and then F10. Only keyboard it can be used (although there's a mouse, you can't see it)...then, follow the instructions from the link (it's in spanish, but options are pointed on english. You'll get it)

Also, you can enter configurations for dolphin, PCSX2, PPSSPP and retroarch from shortcuts when you press F1 and then select "Applications" on the file browser...i guess that's even more easy.
