Batocera performance and SF30pro

Good evening everbody
I’m new on this forum, this is my first post. I’m an old 39 years old french gamer.
First of all : Thanks a lot BATOCERA team. Really:BIG congratulation ! You made an incredible job.
I started some month ago in retrogaming with a raspberry pi 3B+. First I tried Recalbox. But 3B+ unsupported + the minicake tv image file make my considering BATOCERA.
Overall performance are Outstanding ! PSP, Dreamcast, PSX, N64 : what a really good job. People who think these console are too difficult for RP3B+ have not tried yet batocera. Amazing.

I Have some questions :
- I have a SF30Pro from 8bitdo because it is SO cute ! But after billion of try, I never succeed in having it work in all emulator. Especially N64. And after all these try : it’s now not possible to pair it correctly (I dont’ know why because it was working. Batocera is now pairing with an apple tv instead……) I don’t succeed also with bluetoothctrl-→ pairing OK, connecting OK, navigation OK in the menu, but not working in games. Is there anybody who have the same problem ?
- Do you have any advise for a new controller ? I must consider XBOX controller or PS ? I mean in terme of difficulties to pair and to configure.

To test if the SF30pro is not damaged, I install recalbox V6 : Pairing OK without any problem. The controller is also completly working in N64 game.
BUT : what a lake of performances !! rpi3B+ at1500Mhz : impossible to run dreamcast or psp games. Psx and n64 are also laggy.
How do you explain such a difference ? Is this link with emulator configuration ? Or is it intrinsec to batocera ?

I cannot answer all of this, but I have many controllers( PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360) and the best results I have are with the Xbox 360 controller with a wireless usb receiver.

When it comes to the emulation issues, this can be caused when Batocera pulls the updated code from emulator developers. They may have conflicts with the updated emulator and the Batocera OS or a patch that was written was broken with the new updates.
