Hello Sorry for ripping up this old threat but I am a little confused now. I got moonlight to sort of work a long time ago but can't remember what I did. Should this still work on a normal pc's or is it only for raspberry pi?
I am asking because I can't get it to work.
I am trying on the 5.25 version x86_64 and doing as:
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation stop
cd /usr/bin
./batocera-moonlight pair
./batocera-moonlight init
/etc/init.d/S31emulationstation start
That also generates the games in the gui in emulationstation. But when I try to start the games the screen goes black and then goes back to emulationstation again.
The odd thing is that the first time I tried starting just Steam witch was in the list of games in the emulationstation gui it started Steam up in big picture mode on my hosting machine but then on my client it just went black screen and froze. It has not worked since then.
Any idea of what I maybe have to configure?
Update: It seems to work on the raspberry pi 2.
