I guess not. There's a add-on for Kodi, but the actual "alpha" add-on runs on Windows only.

Emulation Station (ES) it's not a Desktop itself, but a program that runs as a graphical interface for listing games and linking that game to the right emulator. Can't tell if ES has the ability to execute other apps...

if there is a posibilitie to create a mozila script for batocera maibe will be possible for skype , if skype as a linux version than yes .. but i dont know how to program that scripts ..

just need waith for someone to creat that script .. like mozilla , BOR and others scripts ..

GameCast check this...i was just curious about it, and a google search gave me this. The same guy is working on wine + mugen and it's working (i'm wating they accept me on the group to see if there's a chance of adding wine + taito type x somehow. Since 2012 there's a loader for linux). Awesome!

after extract file on batocera press F1 and add “firefox-batocera” to the folder share.

now just click twice and firefox browser will open..
very easy .
