Minimum specs for a Mini ITX PC

Hey fellas, for a long time I've been using recalbox and found out about batocera through those forums. I was planning to make a gaming system using and XU4 but liked the idea of playing Wii and Gamecube games too much not to explore this.

I am trying to build a low cost mini ITX capable of playing up to dreamcast, gc and wii games and was wondering what kind of specs I would need to achieve this. ideally the cheaper the better and accounting for the small form factor. Any advice?

the number of cpu is not important. the better cpu must be > 2Gz. i5 or i7 recommanded for the wii.
an other important point is the graphical card : some internal intel cards can be better than powerfull nvidia for example because the nvidia cards are not always very well supported on linux (thanks intel for your contributions). Same for ati. Check linux website recommandations about gpu cards to choose one.
