I have an old laptop that literally has no screen. Figured I'd mess around with it and try to put batocera on it, which worked to some extent as I can hear the onboard speakers playing the menu music.
Unfortunately, it is attempting to display graphics on the laptop screen, which was completely smashed and thrown away. I was wondering if there is a way to change it without seeing what I'm doing, ie. the keyboard instructions for changing settings without being able to see what's going on.
I'm using batocera 5.21 x86_64 and any help would be greatly appreciated.
The closet information to my issue I could find was here
https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/forum/d/2175-cannot-switch-to-hdmi-external-monitor-main-monitor-is-broke-help/4
however the poster said that after completely removing the integrated display his issue was solved.
Thanks
