Reset or change lr-mame settings

Hello, i installed batocera 5.21 on my Lenovo M73 SFF with Intel HD Graphics and was astonished that i can run the arcade versions of 3dfx-using titles with lr-mame having mostly no frame drops.
The emulation of PSP and PS2 was too slow.

Therefore i installed a Asus GT 1030 calm graphics adapter. PS and PSP are still slow and the mentioned lr-mame games became unplayable slow. So i installed the nvidia-legay-drivers like in the sticky thread on the top of this forum.

Now PS2 and PSP and all other emulators (3do, Saturn, etc) are pretty fast, but lr-mame seems not to be accelerated.

Is there any way to change the settings for lr-mame?

iirc mame is cpu reliant and not accelerated by a graphics card

Thanks for your answer. But what effects the drastic slowdown only by changing the graphics adapter without any software changes?

are you using the image with the legacy nvidia drivers?

Yes, the 390.xx as described and the gt 1030 is supported on nvidias website. And it pretty works with PS2, PSP, Gamcube and so an. And the slowdown starts before installing the drivers.

i dont think 1030 is a legacy gpu (yet), you could try the normal image and see if it makes a diffrence.

I think you're right. Just installed same image like the first time. And Mame is slow. But if decide me for Mame i have slow PSP and PS2.

try the latest image and enable nvidia drivers, ps2 games and pcsx2 in general can be quite bugged, but mame and psp should run fine on most pc's (unless you are running games that are notoriously hard to emulate on and/or on a lowend cpu).

Yesterday i installed the latest beta 5.22 on an usb stick and before starting any emulator installed then nvidia driver. Now all emulators run very fast (my greatest problem were the Arcade versions of Gauntlet Legends & Gauntlet - Dark Legacy, which used 3dfx cards in their cabinets). But now sound is totally gone. Not on the PC-Speaker and not on the TV from my DVI-output.
Now i'm in office but later i will at first try to upgrade my 5.21 to 5.22 manually and will report again.

BTW: My PC is a Lenovo Thinkcentre M73 SFF Intel Core i5-4460 4x3,20GHz, 16GB RAM, 500GB HDD, Intel HD-Grafik 4600 and a separate Asus GT 1030, batocera installed on an external 1TB SanDisk-SSD connected via USB 3-Adapter starting over the Boot-Menu.

Installed the 5.22 Beta like described over a shell-script with the correct source (see download percents). Then i turned power off and on again. Nothing happened, still at 5.21. Try to search the downloaded file but my TV is a Sony UHD and i 'm over sixty, i can't read anything in UHD resolution. Still trying...
