Installing a wifi/bt driver?

Is it possible to install a wifi/bluetooth driver?
I have an asus mainboard with builtin wifi/bluetooth by broadcom (bcm43228 wifi chip with bcm20702a0 bt chip) and it works fine (atleast bt) under ubuntu after i add the needed firmware and driver.
if this driver is not installed, it seems the board disables the bluetooth adapter shortly after turning the system on and it is then impossible to use or turn it on again, without a complete poweroff of the pc and disconnecting the power cord untill all power is lost and then turn it back on.
i can see it is currently using the "b43 driver" (which does not support my bcm43228 chip), but there is a linux driver availible in ubuntu called "Broadcom STA Wireless driver" (or bcmwl-kernel-source) or from broadcom directly:

is there a way i can install this driver so that i can use the builtin bluetooth on my system?

The moderators in this forum (like me for example) can not be here 24/7.
We also have a job and a private life. That's why new topics can take up more than 24h to be approved.

Unfortunately the few devs do also not have so much free time to answer all questions here.

i was just wondering if i was being singled out for some reason or was missing something in the forum registration, since it seems like others can post without restrictions and it usually means my posts will be buried beneath all others and therefore does not get an answer.

i really like batocera compared to lets say retropie (especially for pc builds) but it seems like documetation and support is somewhat lacking, which can sometimes be very discouraging (especially if it takes about 24h for posts to even be acknowledged).

but if you say its cause you are busy, ill accept that.

You can not compare Batocera with retropie.
Retropie has a much bigger community. And even there not all questions in the forum can and will be answered within 24 hours i think (but i do not know exactly, because i was not in the retropie-forum for a long time and i don't know how fast the response-time is there).

im not exactly comparing and i know this community is a lot smaller, but it would still be nice to be able to post and not have to wait 24h before my threads can even be read by anyone else.

imho the retropie guys seems to be just a bunch of pretentious aholes only surpassed by their pettiness.
i was hoping this community was diffrent and so far it has, but it is still very frustrating to not get any answers on any of the questions i post, especially since there is little to no info to acquire (on anything slightly advanced) in the wiki.
