@Ra77 let me check. there is a similar bug known. i'll test if i can reproduce. the issue is about an api compatibility already fixed in the past, but while we've upgraded several stack for 5.22 this may have reappear. however, i've tested several archs in 522 and were not able to reproduce. i will test onthe 5.22.

nadenislamarre In Batocera and all emulators work perfectly so it should be a problem specifically Kodi, in the stable version the issue it`s also present.

When I'm on the list of games and press select, it's not showing the option to change the core. Will this be added?

nadenislamarre how long before the stable version is released and when the stable version is released will it have where you can change which Mame core for different Mame games ?

Ra77 look in Kodi settings itself under settings/audio and try changing it from optimized to fixed or the third option and see if it helps I had the same problem with Kodi on my htpc and changed it to fixed and it stopped the sound problem I was having

angelus9151 I did what you tell me but the sound is still not reproduced correctly. The strange thing is that Batocera and all the emulators work perfectly.

Snap72 I did a workaround in retroarch under the shaders and core config override I used crt-pi and it worked for me.

MrCoffee. For me it did. I just had to tell retroarch that boot the config file you have to save that config file after the override

So I had ATI sound issues out of the box in 5.21 but it's now working fantastically in 5.22 beta 3, thank you! 🎶👂Unfortunately now the "decorations" apply a hazy transparent tint to the game screen, is there some way to remove this? I love the border art, just not the layer of colour on the screen. 😞

Edit: after reading it seems to be a new "bezel effect" can I turn this off but keep the border art/decoration on?

Same for me,the bezels had true black on 5.20 on the new beta the border make the screen look washed out.

angelus9151 It hasn't for me but im going to do a reinstall, I've just been updating the boot.tar part with new betas when they come out.
I like to use Zfast shader on retropie with custom settings,I wonder if the settings will stick now in batocera.

on this way i come to say, on the next 6 or 7 monds i will be out of batocera scene, i need to learn very hard for my CLASS D/D1 Drive lessons 🙁 off coarse i will visit batocera forum sometimes to be actualized about batocera advances !!!

Check all your audio settings including the sample rate and whether you have passed through turned on or not I will try to send a screenshot of my current settings

Also which version of Kodi are you using it can be updated manually if you know how. One more thing I didn't think of is the audio codax. You can download specific add-ons within Kodi that will fix the issue just YouTube it

angelus9151 I use the version 17.6 that is the one that brings Batocera for this device (S905). Thanks for your help, as soon as I can implement your advice I will post the results.

eeee87 Maybe we can overwrite the new bezels with the old, will look into it!

eeee87 For any1 wanting to replace the decorations to remove the coloured overlay, all you need to do is take the ones from 5.21 and possibly lower (located at "usr\share\batocera\datainit\decorations") and place them in the 5.22 "userdata\decorations" folder. Worked fine for me last night, even after reboot
