Hi. I know it could sound cocky but, doku wiki is kind of a mess and keeping Batocera wiki multilanguage seems to be a bit of a pain.
What about hosting a "Read The Docs" documentation solution (https://docs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/localization.html) inside Batocera site inside a /docs/ URL/dir?
Some advantages i can see on short and log term:
- Better layout
- Less maintenance to keep a decent topic based documentation
- Integration with github if you want to send patches (no need of approval to login in the wiki if the user is known there...)
- Simple yet efficient Markdown language
Examples:
As ever, i know the project is run by volunteers. It's just a suggestion. Could be any other tool with better documentation features than doku.
The impression that i have(and again, don't get the criticism bite your brain) is that the wiki is somehow abandoned on my native language, and there is no initiative to get it better. The tool(doku wiki) is the tip of the iceberg being good for simple articles, but not good enough for documentation purposes.
Another solution would be use the Github wiki, but that is another tool that isn't multilanguage centric.
