[deleted] wow! that is a great option! thanks so much. I will have to try this, and yes 3 times winscp is indeed a pain!! I figured though that you can actually delete a rom from batocera directly: 1. press select while on a game, edit metadata, choose delete, confirm deletion. this will delete the rom only though, so your MC option is way better. I will add the decorations bezel image maybe although the naming doesnt follow the rom naming I think, so might be tricky.
I think we have a bug with the bezelproject, as games will not launch if no bezel is found from the bezelproject and it drops you right back to the menu after switching to 720p black screen and back to 1080p for the menu. Seems a fallback option is required in case no img from the bezelproject is found to use the next best thing, e.g. auto.
