munsamy Batocera.linux error : failure reading sector 0x7bc8 from error you need to load the kernel first. Im trying this on my dv7 amd laptop. I made a bootable drive with belena etcher. Why am i getting this error and how do i solve it???
BZZ To me it looks like the drive you used is dying or already died. Try plugin it into another PC. You can use program called 'DiskGenius' and scan for bad sectors. That program will also allow you to get into file system from windows to linux. However free version will not let you copy much. Also if you jut made a bootable maybe simply re-download and re-try making it. Dont use the same downloaded file as there is a slight possibility that it got damaged on download or write by Etcher. If it worked before just try the above.
