Retroarch not saving Core Overrides

Everytime I set my M30 controller in Retroarch with Picodrive Core, it doesnt save. If I click on save override, it resets the controls. This is in both mapping and input. Obviously I just want the 6 button sega configs in sega cores. Any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem on picodrive (but it happens with all emulators). If I config buttons on quick menu, controls, then save overrides, it doesn't reads on game launch (it says it does, but the controls config are back to default). If I config them on main menu, settings, input, when I go to configurations and I select save current configuration, it says:
failed saving config to "/recalbox/share/system/config
and it doesn't show the rest of the directory and file name.

Hey guys,

I am hoping this would work for you. When you change your controller settings, you should be saving them via " Save Core Remap File" within retroarch, because you are re-mapping your controllers.

are the games stored on the same device as the OS is installed on?
