Hi, i modified an old GBA SP with Raspberry Zero W, a Waveshare 3.2 (C) 320x240 LCD (High-SPI), an i use the buttons on original motherboard wired to RPi's PINs.
All works with Recalbox, i tried install batocera and i make display working, but i can't do anything to make GPIO custom buttons works with "map=5 gpio=........"
Someone can tell me how make GPIO buttons works?

Best to stay on Recalbox, anyway Wii and Citra you can forget. I have a Freeplay GBA and modified a version of Recalbox for this, with the famous driver mk_arcade_joystick_rpi. So the only Recalbox version on their site is from me. You will have no advantage in newer Batocera versions, as it is much less flexible as early Recalbox versions. So I am happy with Recalbox 18.07.13 on this handheld. Only issue is the low speed of the waveshare drivers, related to the way how they function. With the recompiled fbcp-ili9341 driver, you are able to run 3D games as Quake with good speed under Dosbox.
