Video to Image / Image to Video

Is there an option apart from editing 'gamelist.xml' to get to change Video to Image or Image to Video in the system display? As I have both downloaded it would be nice to have an option in the menu to do so. Does it exist already ? Could we get it in future versions?

Another one but not that necessary -> it would be nice to be able to preview PDF manuals. But I do get that this might be annoying to do in this type of system.

BZZ Hi. This change has to be done on the theme. The Gamelist is here to make data available for the theme. You have to find a theme that offers this option or manually edit an existing theme in order to adapt it to your needs

nexusone13 I am not sure that there would be a theme that would offer an menu option to change display in the actual system. Theme offers the visual interface but not the controls. I get that I can edit the theme config and change image to movie and the other way around. Or possibly delete the line that refers to video in gamelist to get image displayed. What I wanted is for example a 'filter' that would automatically change image display to video without a need to edit files or change theme configs. Something like 'on/off' switch that would show 'image/video'. I hope that it sounds clearer ;-)

nexusone13 you can change it in the game list replace <image> name of game.jpg/png</image>
With <video> name of game.mp4</video>
And vice-versa this is what I did with mine but you have to do each game individually

I do not know if it helps you, that is what you ask, but the videos in the topic batocera take them from the same folder of the room that you are using together videos and image in the theme /image not separately or in the folder /media but directly from /image test to see if that is what helps you (sorry my english I used google translate)
