Nintendo 64/GameCube Games won't launch, but SNES will!

So I've flashed the latest version of Batocera to my external SSD (using an Sata to usb 3.0 converter) with Etcher. The OS works fine; I copied my SNES, N64, and GameCube Roms to the correct rom folders within Batocera.

However, only SNES games launch properly. If I try any N64 or GameCube rom, it launches, but after 5 seconds of so it then goes straight back to the select game menu.

Basic specs, if that matters:
CPU: AMD A9-9410 @2.9-3.5ghz, Dual Core
RAM: 8GB DDR3 @ 1600mhz, single channel
GPU: Integrated, Dedicated: R5 M430 512MB

Any help would be greatly appreciated, excited to start properly using Batocera soon!

i guess you have a low opengl version see menu > system > information

nadenislamarre My opengl version is 4.5 (Core Profile) Mesa 18.2.4.

I fixed N64 Games by going to sound settings and selecting my laptops speakers. Gamecube still doesn't work though.

Elen102 Try going to Dolphin setup pressing F1 -> Applications, and in Settings change the audio backend to Cubeb or Alsa, that happened to me and i fixed that way

Darkpool2019 I tried this, and it didn't work. I even matched the sound percentage within dolphin to the sound percentage of Batocera. Enabled Dolby Pro Logic II decoder, and off with Cubeb and ALSA (which are the only two options).

Elen102 Did you tried to run the games from inside the emulator? try and see if it runs! (not under Emulationstation) i read somewhere that when the game folder was configured in dolphin the games(in ES) started to work somehow too

I'm guessing you already have the correct bios.?

angelus9151 Dolphin doesn't need a bios. Dolphin runs fine on Linux and Windows without installing a seperate bios.

Elen102 couldn't remember if it did or not it's good to know got about 40 different bios in my bios folder so I don't remember what needs it and what doesn't anymore

Darkpool2019 Yes, I just tried it. I set the directory to the games folder, launched Super Mario Sunshine within the dolphin application and it works.

However, two small problems: I still can't launch it from the Batocera UI. The second problem is I can't exit the game once launched, at all by either using the keyboard or my controller (an Xbox One S controller) with the hotkey.

What's the version of your Batocera?

With x86_64 5.23 and GAMES SETTINGS > ADVANCED > Nintendo 64 >
Emulator and Core: Auto (Not working)
Emulator: LIBRETRO
Core: MUPEN64PLUS-NEXT (OK) ; PARALLEL_N64 ("fast motion")
