v5.22 Clean install - No sound via HDMI from MSI GTX 1050 to TV

Hi all, new to Batocera, hopefully you can help.

Just flashed a clean new install of v5.22 to a USB key, boots up fine on my HP i7-3rd gen with a GTX1050 card, however I'm not getting any sound out of the HDMI to TV. I've tried changing the sound settings to other HDMI's etc, but nothing. Any ideas?

Just as a side note, i've also got a raspberry pi 3 with RetroArch/Emulation Station over HDMI I don't have any probs with sound.

Hi Ben,

did you enable nvidia-driver?

and could you start Kodi and then go to system settings, audio output device and test all available settings there until you have sound within kodi?

Hi Joinski,

Many thanks for your advice, that was it, I didn't have the nVidia drivers switch activated. Once that was done I had to set Batocera to use HDMI1 for sound output, but now works fine.
