@nadenislamarre I'd like to thank you for your hard efforts you put into the N2 beta release.
I've tried it and it's near perfect 🙂
I've tried kodi, snes, nes, gb, gbc, n64, dreamcast and megadrive.
The only minor issues I found:
Dreamcast:
The reicast libretro works better than the standalone version.
Both are full speed but the standalone version of reicast tends to skip frames which ruines fast games such as sonic.
Only issue with the libretro core I have is that the left analog stick of my xbox 360 controller also 'controls' the dpad..
So pushing the left analog stick up also presses dpad-up.
If that can be fixed, dreamcast emulation would be perfect.
N64
There's some textures misplaced, causing them to flicker.
For example the shadows in Super Mario 64.
Other than that it's perfect.
All libretro cores
There's a background image that renders some stuff in the sides of the screen.
For example reicast shows a picture of the Dreamcast console.
This is nice but the center of the screen is not black any longer but grey..
This is really visible on oled displays.
Perhaps it's possible to disable this background image?
Kodi
Video playback is smooth but audio is disorted.
I've tried to play with the settings but couldn't find a solution.
If anyone has one, please let me know.
All other stuff is working awesome.
And you can really see the power of the N2 compared to a XU4.
So thanks for everything!
