DisneyWorldMan Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to move my data from one USB drive to another. I currently have my data on an 11 GB drive and would like to move it to a 32 GB one. Could I somehow move my data to the other USB drive without losing anything? Thanks!
mk55 Hi! I suggest doing a fresh install on the 32GB stick and copy over all contents of the /share folder You might have to redo some of the settings (gamepad, sound) but the majority (roms, meta, covers, etc..) should be fine
thisguy Yes you can. You'll have to manually unlock each of your folder from ROOT to ALL. Then You can plug it up on any PC to look through each folder and copy and paste. Or, just use the f1 method. That worked too. Cheers
Halvhjearne it is possible to clone the drive to a new drive and then expand the partition, but considdering you had to ask, i think its perhaps a bit out of your league and i guess the easiest way would then be as already suggested ...
thisguy YES you can do something like that. I use Gparted to do stuff like that. I'll make an 256gb .img files of my Batocera USB. Then remake the same img on a 512gb USB. Then I'll expand Partition (Using Gparted) and Add more games on it. Either pressing f1 in batocera or unlocking everything, and drag n' drop from Linux.
