Retro-Schulzi Hello, yesterday i wanted to make an update via the GUI on my Lenovo M81. The download of the update failed with the error message "not enough space on /boot". What could be so big in that partition and how many space is needed for the update?
nadenislamarre 1gb required on the system partition. you can update manually to avoid this. see the wiki in old batocera installation, the system partition was smaller but things were added
Retro-Schulzi Solved, i resized the boot partition with gparted, then the update ran automatically. I think, this will help for future updates as well 😉
t0nito Retro-Schulzi lucky for you, I had to wipe the entire hard drive a reinstall because gparted wouldn't let me increase the size of the partition.
Retro-Schulzi Well, sorry. I was wrong. It wasn't gparted, i used network for doing this with Partion Manager free from Paragon: https://www.paragon-software.com/free/pm-express/#
