Dual boot windows 10 - batocera

Hi!! I'm trying Batocera for PC running from usb stick .. Great Job!!! Can I boot batocera in dual boot with Windows 10? I mean using the same hard drive (different partition), without using any usb stick (or using one only for the roms). I think it's not good to use 2 usb sticks (One for batocera and the other for the roms etc) in particular in the laptops with few usb ports..
another question: I have a raspberry pi3 with Recalbox 4.0.2, could I use the same usb stick (the one with the Roms etc) on both the systems? In this mode I'll have my roms in one place only.. thank you! Ps sorry for my english

technically yes. but in short, not simplyly for standard users.
recalbox 4.0.2 is very old. i've worked on recalbox 4.0, 4.1 and now batocera 5.0 to 5.6 since this time.

Hi! I don't have updates (stable version) on Recalbox.. i think 4.0.2 is the last stable avaiable.. downloading from the website is the last one, too.. 4.1 is unstable for now, I tried it but it's too unstable.. I'll try to use the same usb stick (the 'data' one), just to try..
what about dual boot with win10 on the same drive, do you think it's possibile? Thanks for your great work, I tried many emulators and I think Batocera is one of the best... It would be fantastic to have video samples instead screenshots for the games metadata but I think it's not so simple.. hi!

for win10 : technically yes. but in short, not simplyly for standard users. Dual boot with an other linux or on 2 disks is simpler eventually.
why not use batocera in the rpi ?!
i've not added the video samples in my todo list. i tried, it looks too complicated to place video for standard users ; i target batocera as a user friendly system. However, any external contribution is welcome.

Thank you for tour fast answer! If I try batocera on rpi, could I use the same data stick for raspberry and win10? It would be the think I'm looking for months!!
I'm not a standard user, but not so expert as you.. so, I can help for testing, but i'm unuseful for programming!! Thanks again for your great work

personnally, i prefer this way to share roms and saves : https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/wiki/doku.php?id=en:store_games_on_a_nas
if you share only roms and saves, it's compatible among all the plateforms.
for the full share, it includes some files that may be shared, but not recommanded to share (some device configuration is still in the data directory even if i'm removing it slowly)

What i have done on my pc is 3 hard drives. a small 4GB ssd for batocera to boot. a 120 gb sata hard drive for windows 7, and a hopefully soon to be 500gb hard drive for games. Batocera is used to play everything up to n64, psx, and even some basic low graphic gamecube games. windows 7 with the better drivers is used for all game cube games and some wii games, and better graphics on the psx using epsxe.

I use grub2win

Will need to create a boot option for the recalbox similar to the one below

set root='(hd1,1)'
linux /boot/linux label=RECALBOX console=tty3 quiet loglevel=0 vt.global_cursor_default=0
initrd /boot/initrd.gz

Removes the old cd/dvd rom and uses a hdd instead. just trowing options out there.

just make sure you gets the right one. there is an ide version and a sata one. i have used them in the past and they worked out fine.
