could you name a few games, that do not work?
do you have the right bios files?
and did you try those games also with mednafen_psx Core or only with pcsx_rearmed?

Okay, I managed to get it working. When you switch cores, you have to reload the rom from the directory. I was simply restarting it beforehand. The core I'm now using is mednafen_psx_hw.

I have just tested this game and with pcsx_rearmed i also had a black screen but wit mednafen_psx it was working fine (except for a few graphical glitches here and there).

which format does your game have? if you have multiple bin tracks (track 1, track 2 and so on) you have to convert those into one bin/cue with PSXVCD and then you could also convert the bin into pbp to save space.
