What wifi USB dongles work with Batocera?

My emulation build consists of a Gigabyte GA-H87N 1.1 motherboard, paired with an I5 4570s, along with 8GB of RAM. I do not have a disc dive as part of this system and Batocera is the sole OS. I purchased a WIFI 11AC USB adapter that is supposedly compatible with Linux kernel 2.6.24 - 4.15 however once I enable WIFI, enter in my SSID, and WIFI key in Batocera it still shows not connected. Any thoughts? My desktop PC that I would like to transfer ROMs from is running Windows 7 Pro.

If you don’t get a list of available networks when you go to the Wifi settings, from my experience, this means the dongle is not compatible, Sorry I can’t offer much help for compatible devices as I’ve just asked a similar question, I can confirm that a Ralink RT5370 based USB that I have works fine though.

I would also love to have a list of (at least partially) compatible dongles, including bluetooth.
