Are we close to an updated N2 build? I know there was talk of a newer release being issued but I'm not sure if progress stalled?

the odroidn2 is in standby. i've a bug in a linux kernel making sound not work. i wait a feedback to get a fix on it. (please don't continue n2 on this thread, this is reserved for rc feeedback)

i am having problems with wii with the newest update, when i put games with .wad files, batocera is not recognizing the game, older versions of batocera recognizes .wad wiiware games now its not recognizing it, i updated the gamelists, wiiware games doesnt show up

i'm using batocera-5.23-x86_64-20190828.img

Tried the new version on my Dell Optiplex 320 SSF with Asus EAH5450 GFX card and it still crashing, I will try another GFX card in it tonight.

@ysaquerai i confirm. some extensions where cleaned, and this one was removed by mistake.
it will be added in 5.24 i think because it is not a big bug. you can workaround it by adding the .wad extension (or upgrading soon in 5.24).

nadenislamarre How would you go about adding .wad so it works ?🙂

Also general question/request -> is there a chance for legacy Nvidia versions integrated? Maybe an option to install new drivers or legacy ? Or separate release in 5.24 for that? And yes I am aware that 5.22 exists. ;-)

First of all, thanks a lot for your hard work, Batocera is awesome.

The only issue I have is with Bluetooth pairing of 8bitdo controllers on Pi3B+. I've tried everything I read on this and Recalbox's forum, ES either tells me "impossible to pair" or "paired successfuly" but neither work. I managed to trust/connect/pair the controller using the scripts in SSH, but when I reboot everything is gone and I have to do it again...

Any clues?

tenyo @nadenislamarre hi, any idea what I should do to fix my bluetooth issue? What is weird is that it's working perfectly in Recalbox. Thanks for your help.

I just wanted to add another game that is about 4.5 GB. The system has 39GB free however on copy over network my windows tells me that there is not enough space.

There is a problem with the Chinese character library, and garbled characters appear.

@ysaquerai rc0 updated to add the .wad to make it easier to you.
@BZZ batocera is a single file. you cannot install or remove software on it. it comes as it is.
lyon00 how to reproduce the font issue ? how do you solve it ?

The font file you are using is problematic. Chinese cannot be displayed completely, just replace the normal font.

I have tried to replace Microsoft Yahoo, and the three fonts have been replaced. Since Microsoft Yahoo is involved in copyright issues, it can be replaced with the free font squared blackbody.
Just replace the fonts under these three paths to solve
/usr/share/fonts/dejavu
DejaVuSansMono.ttf
/usr/share/retroarch/assets/ozone
regular.ttf
/usr/share/retroarch/assets/xmb/monochrome
font.ttf

After you switch to Chinese, you can see garbled characters when you enter retroarch.

what kind of 8bitdo controller do you have exactly?
and which paring mode did you use?
8bitdo controllers have several pairing modes (switch mode, android mode, pc mode etc.) and best is, to use the switch-mode (the controller will then be recognized as switch pro controller)

This issue (no control for lower screen possible) persists already since Version 5.22, see my post here:

It is because since 5.22 only the standalone core of citra is available.
Before in older versions (5.21 and older) it was possible to select to the Libretro Citra Emulator (in Game Settings, Advanced, 3DS) and there you could configure the controls and other settings within RetroArch Quick Menu (Hotkey + B while in game).

nadenislamarre will there be the possibility to configure the citra emulator in the future? because in Applications (F1 on Keyboard) there is no citra-emu-config yet.
Or maybe the Libretro Citra Emulator could be implemented again? Because 3DS looks better with bezels (only available with libretro emulators) and you can easily edit configuration via RetroArch Quick Menu (activate control for lower screen, enhance resolution etc.)

joinski thanks for your reply. I have the sn30 and sn30pro, I used the switch mode and tried the others. Pairing thought ES UI never works. I only managed to pair manually through SSH using the python scripts in Batocera, but it doesn't stick after a reboot.

Hi, I found a problem with the 3ds games in this version, the cursor does not appear, therefore, you cannot use the lower screen.
