As lbrpdx said, it should be to do mount -o remount,rw /boot
then edit with nano /usr/share/batocera/shaders/configs/scanlines/rendering-defaults.yml
like this :
default:
shader: crt/crt-royal-ntsc-320px-composite.glslp
scanline: false
and finish with batocera-save-overlay
command.
However, I did not succeed to get the shader in-game with this solution, despite the file kept as it is after reboot.
I have find a (very not intuitive) workaround.
PLEASE USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK, AND ONLY IF THE ABOVE DID NOT WORKED :
- be sure you are in batocera version 5.23 otherwise the following does not work
- go to terminal at any time
Ctrl+Alt+F3
- then do
mount -o remount,rw /boot
- then come back to batocera interface with
Ctrl+Alt+F2
and launch a game
- enter
retroarch menu
> Shaders > Video shaders "ON" > chose the shader you want
- do
Save core change
and Override>Save Core change
- then comeback to the terminal and do
batocera-save-overlay
.
You have to do that for every Core (console) you want the shader applies to.
Finally, please be informed that I have asked to integrate the shaders selection into Emulation Station Menu because any of those solutions are to complex for users like us. I hope they will have time to help us.
