joinski donnie84 just watch this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_YPAXvS-NW4 and then search on youtube for batocera bios pack
donnie84 i did it all and put some games but they didn´s apear in the menu after. i need to download any emulator?
joinski donnie84 no, you do not need to download an emulator. did you update/refresh the games list or reboot? you have to do this after you transferred roms to the folders. what file extension do your dreamcast games have?
joinski donnie84 .7z and .rar are compressed files and not supported for dreamcast and psone. within the roms folders under /share there are info.txt files, where you can read, which file extensions are supported. for dreamcast you need .cdi, .gdi or .chd
donnie84 now i cant find any working dreamcast games. the games wont start. and have another problem, my psone games are too slow and the sound is very bad :/
joinski donnie84 What are the hardware specs of your PC? And what does "Main Menu", "System Information" say for OPENGL and CPU MODEL? Which dreamcast and psone games did you try? You are using the 32Bit x86 version of Batocera? Which version of Batocera?
donnie84 Intel Atom cpu n270 @ 1.6ghz , 32bit x86 - ASPIRE ONE OpenGL 2.1 Mesa 19.0.8 Dreamcast ..all of them. psone .. street fighter alpha ..and others... all do the same ..slow and noise sound Batocera 5,23 2019
joinski donnie84 You did not read the supported system section on the homepage: https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/#systems Dreamcast requires an OpenGL >=3.1 GPU You only have OpenGL 2.1 regarding psone, i guess the Intel Atom CPU is just too weak for psone emulation.
donnie84 yes yes i know .. thats why they didn´s start t all ...and i forget to see that ... ... but for the psone games didn´s required that openGL ..
joinski donnie84 for psone games your CPU is to slow. try with another notebook/pc intel atom is one of the shittiest CPUs ever
SingingCoyote13 have you alternatively tried to lower the resolution for psone games to 640×480 it will likely speed things up - hotkey/advanced config per system/resolution
