somebody could help me
in batocera 5.22 if you let me change the video splash and in batocera 5.23 I do the procedure and when restarting batocera I still get the same video by default
any idea why you can't change
what does video splash mean? shader?
which procedure do you follow ?
I have the same Problem.
To change the boot splash i tried this.
splash.mp4 --> /usr/share/batocera/splash/
mount -o remount,rw /boot
but there is no recalbox-save-overlay.sh script.
Is there another way to change it?
to change the video, just put your splash.mp4 on top of your sdcard and that's enough.
where did you found this procedure ?
nadenislamarre so it's just to put my splash.mp4 video to the root of the microsd so I can change it
nadenislamarre , I noticed that the boot video was very low volume after placing it in the root of the SD card. Is there any way to increase this volume?
hmm... i found it on the net, with the last versions it worked.
What does you mean with top of the card?
Wich folder must i use for the splash.mp4?
I would like to know also?
I would like to know to. And does this apley for x86 aswell?
1 - Remove the raspberry memory card and connect it to your computer.
2 - Pass the video "splash.mp4" to the root folder of your card.
3 - Go back raspberry card and test.
I solved it by removing the following line:
Before: / usr / bin / omxplayer -o both –vol -2500 $ omx_opt $ omx_srt $ omx_nosound “$ video” &
PID = $!
Then: / usr / bin / omxplayer -o both $ omx_opt $ omx_srt $ omx_nosound “$ video” &
PID = $!
