[SOLVED] Batocera 5.23 Mame File Names Sorting Issue

Hi guys,

First of all, let me start with a huge thanks to the developer for such a great piece of software!

I have just updated from Batocera 5.21to 5.23. I have noticed that the Games Names in Mame are not in alphabetical order anymore. It's quite random I would say. Also when I go to the sorting settings, where it says jump to, I can only see 3 options:0,1, and 2. No letters at all.

Has somebody else experienced the same issue?

Hi guys,

Good news, all sorted!

For some strange reasons the tag <sortname> within the gamelist.xml file was creating the issue. In fact I removed them all from the .xml file and now I can see all the games in alphabetical order. It's odd as the same .xml file was working fine with the previous version on batocera.
