How can I change the Power button behavior?

Hello. I'm on Batocera 5.23 x86-64 which is installed in an old PC. I've managed to sucessfully get the pm-utils commands from Debian GNU/Linux (pm-suspend, pm-hibernate) to work, and I would like to change the behavior of the Power button. Currently, it is used to power off the whole system, but it's more convenient for my setup to map the pm-suspend command to that button. Could this be done somehow? Thanks in advance 🙂

I was having in my Bartop with PI3 first a Hard-Reset Pushbutton. As I changed to 86er Board, I should need 2, one for Reset and one for Power-on. So, I just connected the Power-on button, that you can anyway with a long press use as Reset. Now, interesting, if you have in the bios something as : "Restore on AC/Power loss = Power On" , switching the PC on, automatically will start him, you dont need the Start Button under normal conditions.
