nakotic007 Hi all, I use the default bezels as decorations and it seems as if the screen area of the video is not a hundred percent transparent. The video has no real black and seems to be.. milky? If I deactivate the bezels the video looks great as suppost to be. What's the matter here? I remember that there was not such a problem in the past. BRs Nakotic
fery65 nakotic007 Hi, yes the bezels have light CRT TV effect as it used to be in the past with old cathodic TV, which turned black colours into light grey. You can indeed, desactivate bezels or in the future we will propose bezels without crt effects for users who prefer playing without it. There are users who liked this effect other who prefer without. With this effect you also can use shaders without disturbing the game, while the CRT effect is very light. This effect is for purist users.
voljega Yes same problem, but didn't investigate too much, did you try all options ? I also notice that if decorations are activated, putting retro on 'On' doesn't display scanlines
nakotic007 fery65 wow that's interesting and fits 100% to my assumption. Me personally, I love using bezels and decorations but I also love the full contrast experience with real black colour in combination with scaling shaders. IMHO that's why people love remastered versions of games in HD, it is just pleasant for the eyes and "modern". Bezels without any "CRT effects" would be more than welcome. 🙂 BRs Pascal
fery65 nakotic007 Yes I will do a pack maybe for 5.25 version. I still have to debate with @nadenislamarre about that on how to make it possible to change bezels with and without CRT effects.
