Please include mame2016 core.

Hello, team making Batocera.
I am using Batocera very well based x64. However, this updated version 5.23 no longer supports lr-mame2016.
In lr-mame2010, tekken tag does not work with the A button in 2P, and in lr-mame tekken tag runs very slowly. In previous versions, lr-mame2016 worked very well with it. Please include lr-mame2016 again.

i'm working on a way to validate/unvalidate cores because reason why things are required or not is not always known with the time.

Because he just asked exactly for this.
I agree this Mame stories may annoy you. But some games just run with a certain version. And for the purpose of running it is not important if this version is maintained or not. Mame is a very special case and to keep needed versions not maintained anymore, the argument from effort of maintenance inside Batocera is not valide.
If just somebody can tell me how to run "Carnevil(as example)" in another version and not Mame2016, I accept. But what I cannot understand, and sure is not the biggest job that you do on Batocera, to drop older emulators.
When not only me is saying that they are needed.

With lr-mame, the game I want to run is running slowly. lr-mame2016 runs the game well on the same system.
