Kodi languages (please add more)

Hello !

Can you add more locales to Kodi ? Only English is available (I'd like French 🙂 )
Another word : I tried an experimental version of Batocera with Kodi 17 (20170501-beta) : it works like a charm, a lot better than LibreELEC (low fps while playing videos) and OpenELEC (no display at all with Intel GPU).

it includes kodi17 and included languages.
note that, at least in kodi 16, in some case (i think it's related to the network connection or similar), only english is suggested, while sometimes, i get all of them.

please backup your batocera or .kodi or use an other sdcard for the tests,
i've a stability issue on kodi to fix.

I tried batocera-beta20170503 : Kodi is still working fine (perfect playback). I cannot test the stability yet (I'm not the only one who wanted to watch TV 😉 ).

French was there, but only Canadian French.

yes, i noticed this point.
but this list is generated by kodi itself. kodi 17 is still young, perhaps that french france is not yet available.
Do you have a kodi 17.1 somewhere like on your computer to confirm ?

I tried Kodi 17.1 from the Windows Store, there is
- French
- French (Canada)

ok. in fact, it's because it's installed by default.
kodi don't enabled plugin by default.
i've added the french plugin directly in batocera. thus, it's not proposed.
go in plugin, and enable french, then, you'll be able to use it.
i will try to fix it "by default".
