Problem with Explorer

Every time I press F1 to add roms, after 20-30 seconds everything completely freezes and stops working, how can I fix this?
Perhaps there is a way in which I can fill the roms directly from the main Windows 10 operating system, but I can’t open the disk space with any program, so I have to fill in directly from the batocera system, this is terribly inconvenient due to the fact that everything freezes after 20 seconds.

Recently had a similar issue where Batocera 32 froze when I pressed F1, or usually within 20-30 seconds after (a very slow) boot. Turns out I need to have audio, my output was to a monitor without audio and I had no speakers/headset connected. Once I connected a headset, Batocera booted quickly and no more freezing. Might not be the same as you’re issue but is quick to check/test.

Are you running on an external drive, SD card, or USB ? I had the same problem with USB drives and tried a few of them. The solution I found was to use an external harddrive instead of a flash drive, and the problem instantly vanished.
