Hello...first off all, I want to congratulate you for the great job. It's the first system that I'm assembling, and I never did type a line of Linux. My interest in this moment is on Batocera and how it works, how I can add emulators, games and everything else...where can I find a guide to help me on this startup moment?

for the moment, you can find information on the wiki, development side https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/wiki
in 2 words, batocera is like a firmware + a user data partition.
It is built with buildroot (https://buildroot.uclibc.org/)
adding emulator is not very hard, but it cannot be done directly by a end user :
1) while this is a firmware, you cannot (easyly) run a setup.exe or apt-get
2) while it's not build upon an existing linux distribution, there is no package available
3) the code is cross compiled. there is no development tool in batocera itself to compile an emulator (a linux machine is required to work on batocera).
