Hello to all and thumbs up to the devs for the latest version which I have just installed and am currently playing around with. Only gripe, but not a biggie, is the removal of the original batocera-light theme. I really like the picture of each console in that theme.
Now onto the main issue I have or still have and of which many other users also have, is the management of roms/settings and the storage drive that is used. I understand that the initial installation and boot of Batocera is to setup the share drive for all the user settings and rom folders etc, but at the moment, as this defaults to an EXT linux drive, there are many Windows users who cannot read this drive on their systems.
I would like to suggest to the devs if they could make it possible to store these files on the same drive that Batocera is installed ie. the same boot drive which is created from the image. This would solve alot of issues with having to have 2 drives to mess with and all the hassle of having to deal with 2 completely opposing file systems.
Windows cannot access or partition more than 1 drive on a single usb stick. It would be much easier to manage a single USB stick/drive with the Grub bootable Batocera image and then the batocera settings folder on the same drive. I can't see why this would be more difficult than having them seperate.
Thanks for reading and keep up the amazing work guys.
