I Need resolution 640x480 for old CRT....how to change resolution on batocera???

Novocaine I bought some HDMI to VGA adapter in the past. By using this, you can change the HDMI mode within the recalbox.conf/batocera.conf file. By the information from the linked table you would have to choose HDMI Mode 1

Somebody else faced the same problem but no solution was found. I hope you do. Maybe you could try the portrait mode that might be a start

nakotic007 It works for computer also or Raspberry only ? 640x480 is setted only when you play a game or also in the menu where you can chose the emulator ?

i connect the pc to crt via vga cable, and mame works perfect in win7. When i try to install batocera it star but i see triple video in crt, i try to change resolution but i'm not so good with linux. BATOCERA CHANGE IMAGE AND INSERT THE POSSIBILITY TO CHANGE THE RESOLUTION!!!

I have never installed Batocera to a PC. I just know that XU4 and Pi2/3 do have the batocera.conf file in the system folder where you can define the HDMI MODE

I had the same problem, solved adding modeline manually in the terminal.
PS
You need a graphic card 15khz compatible
