bmmartin99 I can't get my generic swtich pro wireless controller to pair. I'm using an insignia Bluetooth 4.0 dongle that was on the wiki page as compatible so I'm trying to pair it manually using the wiki page https://batocera.org/wiki/doku.php?id=en:bluetooth_controllers-manual_setup . How do I pull up the keyboard? I tried pairing it manually using ssh on the other hard drive I have on this computer using terminal but that it can't find batocera.local. so if somebody could help me either pull up a command line inside batocera or use ssh in a Linux drive on the same box, either way would be great.
Disconnecktie bmmartin99 this guide does work but you have to do this every single time you restart the OS. I'm going to try Sudo chmod 755-R on the sdcard folder for batocera when I get off work to see if things start saving after making changes.
[deleted] Just plug it in your USB port and press ALT+CTRL+F2 or ALT+CTRL+F4 This should show you the terminal On the other hand try the newest 5.25-dev ... there was much done to remove these BT connections faults. https://batocera.org/upgrades/x86_64/beta/last/
bmmartin99 [deleted] when I press alt ctrl f2 nothing happens, alt ctrl f4 gives me access to sound options?
[deleted] this guide does work but you have to do this every single time you restart the OS. No ... usually not. If the trust suceeded than the BT device should be available even on a reboot. If this method does not work than it's very unlikely that annother method will fix this. You may need to setup a script that does the manual work for you.
