Installing Batocera.linux or Batocera.Plus directly on (internal)hdd

Hello, i'm new here. I seen this project few days ago and i think it is wonderful! 😄 Actually i'd want install Batocera.linux or his fork Batocera.Plus (that support wine and linux games) directly on the pc. I tried to use "dd" command to install it in a partition, but Gparted doesn't recognize the type. Also, i tried to use "dd" command from usb to 2 different partitions for "share" and "batocera", that's worked for set-up on Grub Customizer, but when i reboot it doesn't show Batocera.

So, is there the possibility to do it? Thank u very much and i hope that this system continue to be developed! 😍

When i want to install batocera on an internal hdd i use this method:
Take out the internal HDD from the PC and connect it (either internally or externally via SATA to USB-Adapter/external exclosure) to another PC and then just flash the image via Etcher to this drive (just like you would do with a USB key).
After that, just install the drive back into the other PC again and boot from it.

joinski unfortunately, it's difficult to take out the hdd because is in a portable pc and i have already a primary Os installed (Xubuntu)
