Good day! I recently installed Batocera on a usb drive and tested it on my laptop and it worked ok for a cheap 10 year old machine. I came across a newer HP PC with a duocore 3GHZ processor with no hard drive installed and figured I see if it would work as I was under the impression A hard drive or Operating system was not needed.? I attempted to boot from usb and switched boot priorty in setup but all I get is a disk error check cable. I installed a spare blank 500GB hard drive but have the same issue message. I am not a clueless person, my computer experience and knowledge is more DOS/windows 95ish, never really messed with cmos or setup before and don't want to make a mess. Any advice would be appreciated and let me know what info is needed to move forward.
