noelburke82 Hi there, On the main Batocera webpage, it mentions that the Raspberry Pi Zero is a compatible device. Is there an image available for download? I have tried the Raspberry Pi 2 and 3 images, but these don't work. Can you please advise?
nadenislamarre i've not built the image. i can do it if some people are interested, but i've not pi nor pi1 to test (it's the same image for rpi0 and rpi1, but rpi2 and rpi3 images can't work)
noelburke82 I'd definitely be interested in testing and reporting back. I have an Odroid and a Raspberry pi3, so I think I could make a fair comparison.
nadenislamarre versions 5.2 : http://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/upgrades/rpi1/beta/last/ http://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/upgrades/rpi3/beta/last/ feedback are welcome to make them official.
KryPtAlIvIaN nadenislamarre I literally have 20+ Pi Zero's. I can get you one if you none of the other developers have one to test and it falls upon your shoulders.
noelburke82 I also have a spare Banana pi one and a Orange Pie if you would would like one. Message and let me know.
noelburke82 noelburke82 Have just tried the image today. I can confirm that that Mega Drive, Super Nintendo, NES, Sega CD and Master System all work fine. Also tried PS1 with overclocking, not recommended, still too slow.
nadenislamarre @noelburke82 tested on rpi0/1 or rpi3 ? @KryPtAlIvIaN hehe. it would be nice if you really don't need them. @noelburke82 add extra architectures takes time. for the moment, i've a lot of things to do while the number of contributors is low.
dAn0id For a Gameboy Zero project I recently got the new Pi Zero W. I will test the image within the days and report back 🙂 I hope that the builtin WiFi works, because it would save me space for not having to connect a WiFi USB dongle.
nadenislamarre support for rpi zero w including wifi can be tested here : https://batocera-linux.xorhub.com/forum/d/125-test-versions/140
