Retroflag Shutdown script

Hey,

Can someone explain the proper way to install the retroflag shutdwon script in batocera ?

Retroflag site only explain it for retropie and recalbox ?

Not intended for Retroflag GPi

In 5.25 (soon coming) it works out of the box by editingbatocera.conf and add RETROFLAG_ADV to system.power.switch
For current version (5.24) use this installer for advanced feature
wget -O - "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/crcerror/retroflag-picase/master/install_batocera.sh" | bash

If you just want to use the "original script" then just add RETROFLAG to system.power.switch
Batocera is best prepared for all the retroflag housings 😉

statotec This script isn't inteded for the GPi. The post was tagged as RPi3

If you are running latest 5.25-dev you can just edit batocera.conf and comment out the system.power.switch or just add RETROFLAG_GPI

If you have version 5.24 or 5.23 the installer would work per automatic. Nothing more to do, but please remove RETROFLAG or RETROFLAG_ADV inside the config (or comment it out with #).

Hi!! I have Batocera 5.25, but I’m very noob and can’t find batocera.conf to enable safe shutdown of my Retroflag Megapi Case.

Please, can you explain where to find this file to edit it?

I setup my Pi3 today and in addition to modifying the batocera.conf as others as listed I also had to edit the

/boot/config.txt

file. Look for the enable_uart=1 area and uncomment it as such:

# enable UART (required for for retroflag)

# affect rpi performances

enable_uart=1
