Roms on the external hdd

I need to know what i have to do.
I have batocera installed on a SD card , and my roms are on the external usb HDD
Batocera shows all the games , except for psx and mame. but whatever game i want to start. none of them works. get a black screen and then back in the menu.

When i put recalbox on the SD, everything works except.
I really want to use batocera over recalbox cause it has more options ( like search and the bezelproject)

So what is wrong?

can you enter content of /boot/batocera-boot.conf here?

lines prefixed by a # are comments, remove the # to uncomment them

device to the share data (userdata)

sharedevice=DEV 19EA-1A41

disable the splashsound (remove the # to disable sound)

#splashsound=false

enable the nvidia driver (remove the # to enable it)

#nvidia-driver=true

this shared device number is gone when i remove the external hd. but still no game works

i had to add its a fat32 , 2 tb disk. its working on retropie , lakka, and others ,except on batocera.

Can you post file structure of your HDD?

it should be

\batocera
         |-system
         ....

I'll check when i get home. But thinks thats oké. In your link someone mentioned deleting everything excerpt for the Rom folder, i might try that too.

Reformatted the HD in exfat solve's my problem :-)
